Young people today will inherit some of the greatest social challenges our society has ever faced. Yet very few leave school having been taught how to identify these challenges, understand them, or build sustainable solutions. YSE  exists to change that.

We equip students with the knowledge and understanding of today’s pressing social challenges, promote social entrepreneurship as a way to tackle them, and provide the practical skills and confidence to drive tangible change.

Our mission is delivered through various programmes – LEARN, LAUNCH, and LEAD  – each designed to engage students at different stages of their journey. Together, these delivery methods combine education, practical experience, and leadership development to help participants grow as social entrepreneurs.

• LEARN: Interactive workshops and supplemental online learning hub that empower students to explore and understand social challenges.
• LAUNCH: The flagship competition where students design a social enterprise addressing local societal issues, with the winning team receiving seed funding to bring their idea to life.
• LEAD: An alumni programme connecting students with social entrepreneurship leaders, helping them explore diverse career pathways across social enterprises, NGOs, and corporate settings.

Whatever path a YSE student takes, they leave equipped to make tangible change – whether by setting up a social enterprise, advancing responsible business within a corporate setting, or inspiring others to make a difference – ultimately shaping a new generation of leaders in social change and building the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
